Notice of Violation: Chlorine Monitoring, Routine (DBP), major
Alto Rural Water Supply Corporation has violated the monitoring and reporting requirements set by Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in Chapter 30, Section 290, Subchapter F. Public water systems are required to properly disinfect water before distribution, maintain acceptable disinfection residual within the distribution system, monitor the disinfectant residual at various locations throughout the distribution system and report results to the TCEQ on a quarterly basis.
Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not your drinking water is safe from microbial contamination.
This violation occurred in the monitoring period of the third quarter of 2022.
Please do not worry the water was safe for consumption during this time.
We did do the chlorine monitoring report, but it got miss placed and we did not get it sent to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality on time. We have sent the report to them If you have any questions call, Teresa Click at 936-858-4648.
